CALDWELL, N.J. – The HFU Women's Basketball Team became the eighth team in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference's (CACC) Division II era to complete an unbeaten league season, storming back from a double-digit fourth quarter deficit to defeat Caldwell 69-65 on Saturday afternoon.
It is notably the fifth time Holy Family has accomplished the feat, with the Tigers previously doing so in four consecutive seasons from 2005-10.

The comeback began with eight consecutive points cutting the deficit to 52-55 on a
Kaelah Carter (Watervliet, N.Y./Shaker (The College of Saint Rose)) 3-pointer with 6:33 remaining.
Following a Caldwell jumper, the Tigers then used another eight in a row to complete a 16-2 flurry when a
Taylor Hinkle (Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks South) layup made the score 60-57 with 2:42 to go.
Lauren Palangio (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) answered a Cougar layup with one of her own, before
Amy Ngo (Fort Washington, Pa./Upper Dublin) scored HFU's last seven points, including the sealing victory by making all four of her free throw attempts in the final 10 seconds.
