HFU's Ricardo Paniccia Giraldez (O Porriño, Spain/IES Pino Manso) has received his first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) weekly award, as he was named the league's Defensive Player of the Week on Monday.

Paniccia Giraldez played all 180 minutes in an unbeaten week in which the Tigers allowed just one goal, while netting twice in Tuesday's 2-1 triumph over fellow CACC unbeaten Georgian Court. The goals were the first two of his Holy Family career.

The senior opened the scoring just1:20 in with a diving header at the near post, before netting the match-winner with a run into the right side of the box, and an ensuing strike into the left corner, in the 67th minute.

Paniccia Giarldez then played all 90 minutes in Saturday's 0-0 draw at Dominican.
