BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Holy Family University women's soccer team completed its season-opening road-trip with a 1-4 loss at Lynn on Saturday afternoon.
Still scoreless entering the 38th minute after five
Jaina Preuhs (Brookhaven, Pa./Sun Valley) made the first five of her seven saves, the Flying Knights took control late in the first half with three goals in the span 5:47, before making it 0-4 3:16 out of the break.
Bridget Dickson (Somerdale, N.J./Sterling) got the Tigers on the board in the 76th minute, tipping in a
Jessica Levush (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) following a corner kick.
It was Dickson's second career goal, and Levush's second career assist.
Fellow freshman
Kenna Rozanski (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Lower Moreland) also threatened the frame late, but she was denied by Lynn's goalkeeper.
