PHILADELPHIA – The Holy Family University men's cross country team opened its season at the Philadelphia Cross Classic hosted at Belmont Plateau on Saturday morning. 
 

• Freshman Emmanuel Power (Brooklyn, N.Y./La Salle Academy) led HFU in his collegiate debut, finishing in the top-half of the field of 80 with a time of 33:40.96 
• Andrae Johnson (Egg Harbor City, N.J./Oakcrest) was the second Tiger to cross, completing the 8K course in 34:55.91
• Freshmen Gavin Dwyer (Bensalem, Pa./Father Judge) (35:23.38) and Jermaine Fender (Kingston, Jamaica/Jamaica College) (36.34.09) also made their collegiate debuts on the day
• Making his collegiate cross country debut was senior Skyler Salay (Burlington Township, N.J./Burlington Township), who finished in 37:36.98
