Shelby Kinzer (Sioux Falls, S.D./Washington)Â has been selected the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Student-Athlete of the Month for November 2025, CACC CommissionerÂ
Dan Mara announced today. Kinzer earned the award for demonstrating success on the court during the month, while also being a standout in the classroom and giving back to her community.
Kinzer, a senior outside hitter from Sioux Falls, S.D., was selected to the All-CACC First Team and the CACC All-Tournament Team during November. She averaged 3.46 kills and 3.39 digs per set with five double-doubles during the month as Holy Family went 6-1. The Tigers won a share of the CACC South Division regular-season championship, reached the conference final for the first time in four years, and earned an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament.
Kinzer finished seventh in the CACC this season with 3.14 kills per set and sixth with 3.69 points per set. She completed her career with 1,080 kills, good for eighth on the Tigers' all-time list.
Academically, Kinzer maintains a 3.94 cumulative grade-point average while majoring in management-marketing. She is a 2024-25 inductee to the Chi Alpha Sigma college athlete honor society, and is a two-time selection to the College Sports Communicators Academic All District® Team. Kinzer has also been twice a member of the CACC Volleyball All-Academic Team and a four-time CACC Academic Honor Roll recipient.
Kinzer has volunteered as an instructor at beginner clinics with the Princeton Volleyball Club. She has joined teammates to participate in Holy Family's Earth Day Campus Clean Up and to walk dogs at the National Greyhound Adoption Program.
The CACC Student-Athlete of the Month Award is handed out from September to May and recognizes one student-athlete from any sport active during that month.
