PHILADELPHIA – The No. 20 Holy Family University Women's Basketball Team held Molloy scoreless for the first 6:20 en route to a 79-35 win over the Lions on Wednesday evening inside of the Campus Center.
Prior the game, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) officially inducted HFU alumna Kelly Killion '08 into its Hall of Fame.
Individual Highlights
- Taylor Hinkle (Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks South) posted game-highs of 16 rebounds and 12 points for her second double-double in three games
- Ella Brown (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) led all players with three steals and neared a double-double with nine points and eight boards
- Skyler Searfoss (Jim Thorpe, Pa./Jim Thorpe Area) dished out a game-high six assists, while Claire Dougherty (Lehman, Pa./Lake-Lehman) added a career-best five
- Kara Meredith (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Archbishop Wood) poured in 11 points on 4-of-7 field goals and 3-of-5 3-pointers
- Kaelah Carter (Watervliet, N.Y./Shaker (The College of Saint Rose)) was also in double-figures with 10 points
- Danielle Brusha (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Lower Moreland) notably scored her first collegiate points

- HFU's 60 rebounds were its most since Jan. 6, 2024, while Molly's 35 points were the fewest by a Tigers opponent since Goldey-Beacom had 32 on Jan. 31, 2024
How it Happened
- Holy Family scored the first 11 points, five of which came from Meredith
- Molloy came back with the next five, but the Tigers closed the first quarter on an 8-2 run, featuring four points from Lola Ibarrondo (Bristol, Pa./Neshaminy), to establish a double-digit cushion for good
- HFU would then hold the Lions scoreless for the first 6:24 of the second, with Carter pouring in eight of the 16 points to complete a 24-2 stretch
