Mia Wise (Genoa, Ill./Genoa-Kingston) and
Mackenzie Layton (Clarksboro, N.J./Kingsway Regional) capped their first collegiate regular season with Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Weekly Awards, the league offices announced on Monday.
Wise has now received six CACC Weekly Awards in 2025, as she was named the Setter of the Week for a third time, while Layton earned her fifth with a fourth Rookie of the Week nod.
Wise led both matches of a 2-0 week in assists and aces, averaging 12.17 and .67 per set, while also contributing four blocks.
After pacing all players with 42 assists and two aces in Wednesday's sweep of Georgian Court, she had 31 assists and two more aces in Saturday's sweep at Chestnut Hill.
Layton averaged 3.00 kills per set on an astounding .630 hitting as she committed just one error in 27 attacks.
After contributing eight kills on .538 hitting in the sweep of the Lions, she led all players with 10 kills on .714 hitting and two aces in the sweep at CHC.
