PHILADELPHIA – The HFU Volleyball Team celebrated Senior Night with a dominant sweep of Georgian Court (25-11, 25-18, 25-14) inside of the Campus Center on Wednesday evening.
Prior to the match, the Tigers honored its senior class of
Shelby Kinzer (Sioux Falls, S.D./Washington),
Ava Kidd (Walton, Ky./Larry A. Ryle (Saint Anselm)),
Jayden Bralts (Jupiter, Fla./Jupiter) and
Sam Swenby (Evergreen, Colo./Evergreen (Loch Haven)).
Individual Highlights
- Kinzer celebrated the occasion with a match-high 12 kills to become the ninth student-athlete in program history to surpass 1,000 in a career
- She also had double the amount of digs as any other player, 16, for her fourth consecutive double-double
- Kidd had the match's second-highest total with eight kills on .500 hitting
- Swenby added five kills on .625 hitting, while Bralts finished with four digs
- Mia Wise (Genoa, Ill./Genoa-Kingston) led all players with 42 assists and two aces
- Leah Logan (Bloomfield, N.J./Abundant Life Academy) and Mackenzie Layton (Clarksboro, N.J./Kingsway Regional) had eight kills as well, on .545 and .538 hitting, with Logan adding a match-high five blocks
Inside the Box Score
- Holy Family hit a season-best 41.1 percent, while its 49 kills, 46 assists and seven blocks all set or tied a season-high for a three-set match
