PHILADELPHIA – The HFU volleyball team used a fast start to run past Felician in four sets (25-20, 25-22, 13-25, 25-19) on Saturday afternoon inside of the Campus Center.
Individual Highlights
- Mia Wise (Genoa, Ill./Genoa-Kingston) led all players with 37 assists and tied for the team lead with seven digs (Keira Rogan (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury)) and two aces (Ava Kidd (Walton, Ky./Larry A. Ryle (Saint Anselm)))
- Shelby Kinzer (Sioux Falls, S.D./Washington) and Kalia Espenlaub (New Market, Md./Saint John's Catholic Prep (Millersville)) had the match's two highest kill totals with 13 and 12, respectively, with Kinzer also matching Rogan with a team-best two aces

- HFU scored eight straight points on Rogan's service, including two kills by Mackenzie Layton (Clarksboro, N.J./Kingsway Regional), to jump out to a 10-2 lead in the opening set
- The Tigers then overcame an 0-5 deficit in the second, breaking a 20-20 tie with a Kinzer kill and Wise service ace that sparked a set-ending 5-2 surge
- Holy Family never trailed in the fourth after scoring seven of the first eight points, as both Kinzer and Espenlaub played a part in three points
