Women’s Lacrosse Clinches Fourth Consecutive CACC Tournament Berth with 21-5 Win at Felician

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The HFU women's lacrosse team clinched its fourth consecutive Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament berth with a 21-5 win at Felician on Wednesday. 
 
The Tigers took control with a 7-0 first quarter that included five goals from Rianna Shields (Richboro, Pa./Council Rock South), who broke Erin Harmer's school record (9 – April 19, 2016 at Caldwell) with 10 to tie the second most in NCAA Division II this season. 
 
Holy Family also tied a program record with 25 draw controls as a team, matching the record set at Dominican on April 5, 2012. 
 
Individual Highlights
  • Shields now ranks third in program history with 159 career goals and fourth with 185 points
    • She was second on HFU with two caused turnovers
  • Tori Wolstenholme (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert Catholic) nearly joined Shields in setting a program record as her 15 were one shy of Rose Bachmayer's school record (April 7, 2018 at Dominican)
    • The senior is now second in program history with 245 for her career
    • She tied a game-high with four caused turnovers and was second with five goals and seven points, all of which were career-bests
  • Maura Kilkenny (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Little Flower Catholic) tied Wolstenholme with team-highs of two assists and three ground balls, moving into the program's single-season top-10 in the latter with 46 on the year
  • Payton Pugh (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert Catholic) was second on Holy Family with eight a career-best draw controls
  • Olivia Kueny (West Deptford, N.J./Holy Cross Preparatory Academy) returned to net, making eight saves in the victory
