PHILADELPHIA – The HFU men's lacrosse team hosted Bridgeport for the program's first-ever Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game on Saturday at Tiger Field.
The Purple Knights won 17-2.
Brent McColligan (Bellmawr, N.J./Triton Regional) scored both of Holy Family's goals, one set up by
Ben Blair's (Rochester, N.Y./Penfield) first-ever assist, while
Bryce Thomas (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter Strasburg) made 17 saves.
Trey Rorer (Philadelphia, Pa./Northeast (Immaculata)) led the Tigers with a season-high three caused turnovers and five ground balls, with
Jacob Turk (Yardley, Pa./Conwell-Egan Catholic) and
Timmy Tran (Philadelphia, Pa./Harry S. Truman) also adding three caused turnovers apiece.
