How it Happened
First Game
- Shippensburg took control with a two-out, two-run single in the first before adding four more in the third
- HFU got two back in the fourth thanks to walks by Brian Comer (Charlotte, N.C./Independence (Bucks County CC)) and Dalton Turner (Langorne, Pa./Neshaminy (Bucks County CC)) and an Isaac Criss (Grove City, Pa./Grove City (Bucks County CC)) single, but the Raiders came right back with two of their own in the bottom-half
Second Game
- Shippensburg again used a two-out hit in the first to ahead, as a double made it 0-1
- That score-line last until the seventh as just one lone runner reached scoring position in the second through sixth in the top of the third
- Tucker retired 15-of-17 following the two-out double and until a leadoff homer in the bottom of the seventh
- The Raiders later added to their advantage with a two-run single
- HFU advanced runners to second and third with one out in the eighth following a de Vera leadoff single and Gino Serechia (Hammonton, N.J./Hammonton (Shepherd University)) walk, but the Tigers could not push a run across
