Leah Logan (Bloomfield, N.J./Abundant Life Academy) have received weekly awards from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) for their performances in a 2-1 week for the Tigers.
Morgan Steck (Lakewood, Colo./Lakewood) – CACC Seter of the Week
Steck led all three matches in assists as she averaged 10.1 per set. She added 2.40 digs per set, five kills, four blocks and three aces.
The senior first paced all players with 44 assists and added 12 digs for her third double-double of the season as HFU came back to defeat Goldey-Beacom in four sets on Tuesday.
After posting a match-high 25 assists versus Jefferson on Friday, Steck had 32 assists and was second on the Tigers with six digs and two blocks in Saturday's sweep of Bloomfield.
Leah Logan (Bloomfield, N.J./Abundant Life Academy) – CACC Rookie of the Week
Logan averaged 1.90 kills on .444 hitting and .80 blocks per set.
She first had double the amount of blocks as any other player with six, to go along with 10 kills on .533 hitting to set new season-bests in both, in the comeback against the Lightning.
After recording five kills on .385 hitting versus the Rams, the freshman ended the week with four kills on .375 hitting in the sweep of the Bears.
