Carly Bolivar (Elmont, N.Y./Sewanhaka (Alliance)) has been named both the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player and Defensive Player of the Week after performances that included her recording just the second official quadruple-double in Division II history in last Wednesday's win over Wilmington.
The graduate student joined Fort Valley State's Tereska Watkins, who did so in 1997, in accomplishing the feat, as she finished with 11 points and career-bests of 14 rebounds, 12 assists and 10 steals, the latter two of which led all players.
The 10 steals are tied for the most in Division II this season, while the 12 assists are tied for sixth.
Bolivar then had eight points, seven boards, three assists and a game-high three steals in Saturday's overtime loss at CACC North leader Post, bringing her averages for the week to 9.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 7.5 assists and 6.5 steals.
