PHILADELPHIA –
Kara Meredith (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Archbishop Wood) outscored Goldey-Beacom herself, pouring in a career-high 33 points on 13-of-19 field goals and 7-of-11 3-pointers in HFU women's basketball's 80-32 victory over the Lightning on Wednesday evening in the Campus Center.
The freshman got off to a fast start, scoring 13 of Holy Family's first 14 points and 16 of its first quarter points as the Tigers never trailed, doubling up GBC 20-10 in opening stanza.
After combining for eight points in the second and third, Meredith closed strong with nine more in the fourth to more than double her previous career-best of 14.
She added a career-high 10 rebounds for her first career double-double.

- Carly Bolivar (Elmont, N.Y./Sewanhaka (Alliance)) neared a double-double of her own with game-highs of a career-best 14 boards, eight assists and four steals
- Claire Dougherty (Lehman, Pa./Lake-Lehman) had the game's second highest total with 17 points, to go along with six rebounds
- Jessica Riepe (Marlboro, N.J./Marlboro) made it three Tigers in double-figures with 12 points
- Carolyn Prevost (Belle Mead, N.J./Montgomery) contributed eight points, while Jenn Kokolus (Bethlehem, Pa./Freedom) pulled down a season-best eight boards
