Morgan Steck (Lakewood, Colo./Lakewood) was a repeat honoree, highlighting the HFU volleyball team landing three on the Academic All-District Team® selected by College Sports Communicators. 
 
Joining the junior in receiving the accolade for a first time were sophomores Shelby Kinzer (Sioux Falls, S.D./Washington) and Ava Kidd (Walton, Ky./Larry A. Ryle (Saint Anselm)). 
 
The 2023 Academic All-District® Volleyball teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
 
To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-District Volleyball Team®, a student-athlete must:

• be at least a sophomore academically and athletically
• have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average
• compete in 90 percent of the institution's sets played or start in at least 66 percent of the institution's total matches
