Allyssa Hartney (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player of the Week after her performances in two Tigers wins.
The senior averaged 3.88 kills per set on .203 hitting while adding .88 blocks per set, highlighted by a season-high 20-kill performance in Saturday's comeback victory over Bridgeport.
Hartney began the week leading the Tigers with 11 kills in Wednesday's win at fellow CACC unbeaten Jefferson, adding a season-best four blocks for the match's second-highest total.
She then swung .310 on Saturday as Holy Family rallied from losing the first set.
Hartney and her teammates continue a four-match home-stand tomorrow when they welcome Georgian Court to the Campus Center for a 6 p.m. start.
