How It Happened

* Holy Family led by as many as nine points in the first half after freshman David Robinson, Jr. (North Wales, Pa./Chestnut Hill Academy) scored a layup to make the score 15-16 at the 11:19 mark.  As the half progressed, the Rams slowly chipped away at the Tigers' lead and would go on to tie the game at 23-23 when Antonin Kemkeng scored a basket to cap the scoring in the half.

* Early in the second half the Rams built a double-digit lead at 38-28 after starting the half on a 15-5 run.  This time it was the Tigers who mounted a comeback as Holy Family regained possession of the lead at 45-44.  Junior Rick'Keem Mixson (Linden, N.J./St. Mary of the Assumption (Raritan Valley CC)) gave the Tigers a 45-44 advantage with a basket at the 8:36 mark.

* On the following Jefferson possession, the Rams grabbed the lead right back off a three-pointer from Ahmed Barba-Bey before the Tigers tied the game at 47-47. However, the Rams would go on to score eight straight points to break the tie and lead 55-47 with less than six minutes to play in regulation.

* Jefferson increased its lead to 12 points at 63-51 off a three-pointer from Deondre Bourne to seal the victory with 1:21 left on the clock.
