How It Happened

* The first 84:12 minutes of the game saw zero goals scored and in return the final 5:48 minutes featured three goals resulting in two lead changes and a tie.  The first goal in a very exciting final five minutes came off the foot of Georgian Court's Jonathan Firmino in the 85th minute to give the Lions a 1-0 advantage.

* Less than two minutes later Holy Family came through with the equalizer as Habilaj connected on his team-leading seventh goal of the season.  Habilaj received a long feed from senior Mohamed Elgayar (Philadelphia, Pa. (Egypt)/Northeast) to assist on the score.  It's the second time in as many games that Habilaj and Elgayar teamed up for a goal.

* With 2:29 remaining in regulation, senior goalkeeper Mark Tobin (Philadelphia, Pa./Roman Catholic (La Salle Univ.)) punted a ball from outside the box that was misread by the Georgian Court defense.  The ball cleared the back line of defenders and Touey was in the right spot at the right time as a chip shot over the goalkeeper's head that cleared the net for the score.  It marked Touey's fifth goal of the season.

Inside the Box Score

* Habilaj's game-tying goal registered as his seventh of the season; one shy of his career-high of eight set in 2019.  In the last nine seasons, Habilaj's 19 career goals are the most by any player in that span.

* Tobin earned the win in net for the Tigers as he finished the game with five saves.

* Georgian Court out shot the Tigers, 15-11, for the game but Holy Family had nearly just as many shots on-goal as the Lions.  The Tigers finished with five on-target to six by the Lions.

All-Time Series
Today marked the 10th meeting between Holy Family and Georgian Court since the start of the 2013 season.  The Tigers are now 3-6-1 versus the Lions in the all-time series.  It's the Tigers first win against GCU since the 2015 season.

Postseason Picture
Holy Family officially clinched the fifth-seed in next week's CACC Tournament.  The Tigers finished tied for fifth in the standings with Nyack College but due to the Tigers' regular season victory over the Warriors, earned the tie-break for the fifth seed.  Holy Family will face fourth-seeded Georgian Court in the quarterfinals on Monday, Nov. 8. This is the second time in recent memory that Holy Family and Georgian Court will face one another in the quarterfinals after closing out the conference regular season versus one another.  The two teams met in Lakewood for the 2018 quarterfinals with the Lions coming away with the victory in a shootout.

Next Up
Holy Family has one more regular season contest on its schedule as the Tigers travel to face West Chester University in a non-conference match up on Saturday, Nov. 6.  Game time is set for 1 p.m.
