How It Happened

* After a scoreless first half, Holy Family wasted zero time getting on the scoreboard in the second half.  In the 50th minute, sophomore Brenna McCarry (Philadelphia, Pa./Little Flower) connected on her second goal of the season with a shot point-blank in the box on-goal. McCarry received a perfect long pass from freshman Izzy Mignon (Pipersville, Pa./Central Bucks East) from the right side of the field into the box.

* The score remained 1-0 until Post got on the board in the 61st minute.  Lydia Asamoah attempted a shot from the left side and was able to beat senior Alayna McSeed (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) as the ball crossed towards the lower-right of the net.

* With the game tied 1-1, Holy Family continued to pressure the Eagles' defense.  Finally, in the 68th minute the Tigers caught a break offensively.  Freshman Ava Hooten (Pocono Summit, Pa./Pocono Mountain East) fired a shot on-goal from the left and the ball hit off the hands of Post goalkeeper Tayleur Little for the score.  It marked Hooten's first collegiate goal and game-winner.

Inside the Box Score

* Holy Family outshot the Eagles, 21-6, for the game.  The defense held the Eagles to just two shots the entire second half.

* McSeed made one save in net for the Tigers as the Eagles managed just two shots on-goal in the game.  McSeed's scoreless streak in conference play came to an end as she went 600:28 minutes without allowing a goal versus CACC opponents.  Her goals against average in conference play is an impressive 0.14; lowest among eligible statistical leaders.

* Senior Jacqueline Ziegler (Feasterville, Pa./Neshaminy) led the Tigers with five shots, while freshman Abbie D'Ambra (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill West) added three with two on-goal.
