How It Happened

* It was a tale of two halves as the Tigers scored two first half goals to take a 2-0 lead into halftime.  The first Tigers' goal came off the foot of senior Georg Montag (Philadelphia, Pa., Archbishop Ryan) as he fired a shot from about 20-yards out in the 32nd minute with fellow senior Joel Richmond (Bridgetown, Barbados/Church Farm) assisting on the play.  Just about six minutes later, Richmond came through with a goal of his own as he attempted a shot from the left side.  The ball curved towards the right of the net to beat the Post keeper. Junior Sean Touey (Rockledge, Pa./Abington) was credited with the assist on the play.

* In the second half Post responded with two goals to tie the game and force overtime.  Both goals came from Sergio Sanchez who scored in the 65th and 81st minutes.  Alvaro Sanchez assisted on the first goal, while Sergio Diaz was credited with the assist on the second.

* Holy Family managed a shot in the final minute but Gavin Rowan's (Levittown, Pa./Neshaminy) attempt went wide-right as both teams prepared for overtime.

* In overtime, Post had the only shot on-goal which turned out to be the game-winning score. In the 104th minute, William Nordkvist fired a shot from the right side after being set up by A. Sanchez for the score.

Inside the Box Score

* Richmond's three-point day marked a season-high for him. He currently leads the team with four assists this season.

* Montag and senior Davis Habilaj (Philadelphia, Pa./Father Judge) each had four shots as the two combined for eight of the team's 13 shots.

* Both teams were pretty even on shots with Post holding at slight edge at 16-13.  The Eagles attempted 11 corner kicks to just three by the Tigers.  However, Post was unable to capitalize on any of their corner opportunities.
