How They Got Here – Holy Family
Holy Family was among the five teams in the region to receive an at-large bid into the East Regional.  The Tigers are making their second straight trip to the NCAA Tournament after earning their first-ever bid a season ago.  Holy Family is currently 24-9 overall and finished Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play with a 16-3 record good enough to earn a share of the CACC South Division Regular Season title.  The Tigers advanced all the way to the CACC Championship match before falling to Georgian Court University, 3-1.

Who to Watch
The Tigers are led by CACC Player of the Year and All-CACC first team selection Carly Covington (Delmar, Md./Delmar) who leads the conference with a career-high 488 kills.  Covington is also 10th in the conference in digs with 394 digs; also a career-high.  The Tigers offense is paced by the two-time CACC Setter of the Year in sophomore Morgan Silks (Norristown, Pa./Archbishop John Carroll).  Silks, also a two-time All-CACC first team selection, ranks fourth among the Division II leaders with 1,341 assists.  Freshman Allyssa Hartney (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) is averaging 2.78 kills per set and has totaled 325 kills in her rookie season.  Defensively, senior Jillian Boyle (North Andover, Mass./North Andover (Rivier College)) leads the team with 502 total digs at a rate of 4.02 per set.  The three-time All-CACC selection surpassed 500 digs for the second straight season. Junior Camille Johnson (Columbia, Md./Wilde Lake) has totaled a career-high 57 blocks this year, including a team-high 14 solo blocks.

How They Got Here – Bentley
Bentley will be making its 13th all-time appearance into the NCAA Tournament and first since 2014 after earning the automatic qualifying bid from the Northeast-10 Conference (NE10) by winning its first conference title since 2006. The Falcons claimed the NE10 title after rallying from a 2-0 deficit in the championship match versus American International College.  Bentley is currently 26-5 overall and has on 21 of its last 22 matches.

All-Time Series
Holy Family and Bentley have met twice prior and not since the 2014 season.  The Falcons won both matches in the series by identical 3-0 scores.

Holy Family in the NCAA Tournament
The Tigers own a 2-1 record in the NCAA Tournament after advancing all the way to the East Region Finals in their first-ever appearance last season.  The Tigers became the first CACC school to reach the regional finals in the sport of women's volleyball.
