How It Happened

* After yielding two first half scores, the Tigers responded with two goals of their own in the second half to tie the game.  Rock got the Tigers on the board with her fourth goal of the season in the 50th minute of action.  After receiving a through ball from graduate Stefanie Ulmer (Philadelphia, Pa./Delaware Valley HS Center City), Rock shot towards the lower right corner to beat the Nyack goalie.

* Freshman Kaitlyn Findlay (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) tied the game at 2-2 in the 65th minute with her second goal of the season.  Findlay stole the ball from a defender and tapped it in to beat the goalie for the unassisted score.

* Holy Family had a few opportunities late in the half to break the tie with three shots on-goal.  In the 81st minute sophomore Hannah Derby (Pitman, N.J./Pitman) nearly gave the Tigers the lead but her shot hit off the crossbar.

* In the second overtime period Rock connected again for her fifth goal of the season.  Her shot from just outside the box on the right side went over the goalkeeper for the game-winning score.

* Nyack scored a pair of goals in the first half coming minutes apart from one another.  Kaelan Kanai scored her first of the season in the 21st minute and Shanice Rapp recorded her first goal in the 22nd minute.

News and Notes

* With her two goals this afternoon Rock now has five on the season, which currently leads the CACC.
