How It Happened

* Holy Family scored the game's first goal in the 19th minute when freshman Hannah Derby (Pitman, N.J./Pitman) connected on her fourth goal of the season.  Derby received a cross pass from fellow freshman Cailey Plath (Philadelphia, Pa./Little Flower) inside the box and finished with a shot to the left side of the net.  Plath was credited with the assist; her fifth of the season.

* The score remained 1-0 throughout the rest of the first half despite five shots on-goal by the Cougars.  Freshman goalkeeper Emily Camp (Pittsgrove, N.J./Arthur P. Schalick) stopped all five of the shots to keep Caldwell off the scoreboard.  She went on to finish with six saves in the game as the defense held the Cougars to five shots in the second half with only one on-target.

* In the 63rd minute the Tigers doubled their lead after senior Shannon Metzler (Erial, N.J./St. Josephs (Hammonton)) scored her second goal of the season.  Metzler collected a loose ball rebound off a penalty kick attempt by junior Brianna Rock (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem).  Caldwell goalkeeper, Daniela Lucca, made the save on Rock's shot but was unable to recover as Metzler found the back of the net.
