In the second half neither team managed a lead larger than two possessions until the final minutes.  The lead changed hands six times and was tied on seven occasions in the final half. Holy Family tied the game for the last time at the 3:13 mark when senior Shane Neher (Richboro, Pa./Archbishop Wood) grabbed an offensive board and followed with a tip-in score to tie the game at 73-73.

Unfortunately, on the ensuing possession, the Rams drained a three-pointer to give the home team a 76-73 advantage with less than three minutes on the clock.  The Rams scored four more unanswered points and increased their lead to six points (79-73) with 1:16 to play.

Holy Family cut the lead down to two points after back-to-back scores on two straight possessions.  Neher hit a jumper and was followed with a Bell fast-break layup after he forced a turnover with :46 seconds showing.

After a Philadelphia turnover, the Tigers had an opportunity to tie the game or take the lead.  Outside a timeout with :12 seconds to play, Bell attempted a three-pointer but his shot came up short.  The Rams grabbed the defensive board resulting the Tigers to quickly foul.  Guerra was sent to the line and converted two free throws with three seconds left to secure the two-possession victory.
