How it Happened
Two early first half goals by the Golden Knights set the tone for the game.  Saint Rose got on the scoreboard first in the 12th minute of action when freshman Victoria Barris connected on her fourth goal of the season to give the Golden Knights a 1-0 advantaged.  In the 20th minute the Golden Knights doubled their lead when Burchhardt converted a penalty kick after a Holy Family handball inside the box.  The goal was the first of three on the afternoon for Burchhardt.  From there, the Golden Knights added two more goals in the half to take a 4-0 lead entering halftime.  Saint Rose added one goal in the second half in the 56th minute as Burchhardt scored her third goal of the game to complete the hat-trick.
