Philadelphia, Pa. - The Holy Family University women's volleyball team dropped a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest at Chestnut Hill College by the score of 3-0 on Wednesday night at the Sorgenti Arena.Â

Holy Family is now 14-14 overall and 10-8 in the CACC, while Chestnut Hill improves to 9-20 overall and 7-11 in conference action. The Griffins won the match by the scores of 25-22, 25-19 and 27-25.Â

Sophomore
Emma Herring (Newtown, Conn./Newtown) led the Tigers with a team-high ten kills to go along with a team-best 12 digs. Herring also recorded three service aces. Senior
Sarah Ambach (Springboro, Ohio/Springboro) and sophomore
Rachel Johnson (New Lenox, Ill./Lincoln Way West) each added six kills. Johnson also had eight digs on the defensive end.Â

Senior
Chelsea Keegan (Bucyrus, Ohio/Colonel Crawford) finished with nine digs and finished with 29 set assists. Junior
Devyn Ingram (King of Prussia, Pa./Upper Merion) also had nine defensive digs.
For Chestnut Hill, senior Alexandra DePalma led the match with 16 kills to go along with 15 digs. Freshman Regina Trabosh finished with a match-high 19 digs, while fellow classmate Madsion McBride contributed ten kills and 13 digs. Freshman Emily Drew led the match with 31 set assists to go along with digs.

Holy Family is back in action on Friday, Nov. 8 as the Tigers host Post University in a CACC contest. Match time is slated for 7 p.m.
