Philadelphia, Pa. - The Holy Family University women's volleyball team defeated Georgian Court University, 3-0, in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) quarterfinal contest at the Campus Center Tuesday night. In the process, the Tigers picked up their 11th straight victory.

Holy Family, seeded number one in the CACC South Division, improves to 20-9 overall, while Georgian Court, seeded fourth in the South Division, concludes the year at 12-20.

Holy Family cruised through the first set with a 25-16 victory and continued the momentum into the second set as the Tigers came through with a 25-14 win. In set three, Holy Family sealed the match victory by the score of 25-18.

Junior Jillian Keeve (La Grange, Ill./Lyons Twp.) led the attack for Holy Family as she record a team-high nine kills and in the process surpassed 900 kills for her career. She now has 906 career-kills. Sophomore Cara Przybylowicz (Ridley Park, Pa./Ridley) added seven kills to go along with three digs, while junior Alyssa Keihl (Pewaukee, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) contributed five kills and recorded six service aces.

Senior Aimee Drabyn (Avon, Ind./Avon) had a match-high 24 assists, while freshman Chelsea Keegan (Bucyrus, Ohio/Colonel Crawford) had a match-best nine digs.

Senior Stephanie Rivera led the way for Georgian Court with a team-high nine kills, while sophomore Talita Rocha added six kills and six blocked assists. Freshman Karol Oliveros recorded 21 assists and four digs.

Holy is back in action on Friday, Nov. 12 in a CACC semifinal match which will be hosted by Georgian Court University. The Tigers will face the lowest remaining seed from the CACC North Division at 5:30 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. Pairings for the semifinals are still to be determined.
