Petner garnered numerous awards in her four seasons in the Tiger uniform. She was named as the NAIA District 19 Player of the Year in 1989. Tracy was also selected as the Player of the Year by Philadelphia Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women.

As a senior, she was tabbed as the News Gleaner Female Athlete of the Year. She is Holy Family’s first women’s basketball All-American after earning fourth team status from the NAIA.

On the court, Petner led Holy Family to three NAIA District 19 and Keystone Athletic Conference titles. She paced the team in scoring in all four seasons she played. She is the first women’s basketball player to net 1,000 career points, accomplishing the feat in 74 games. In her career, she scored 1,660 points, which is sixth on the all-time list.
