Holy Family University Athletics

In a week that saw the Tigers go 2-0-0, freshman Jenna Richards recorded a goal in each victory, including the game-winner at Concordia College.  Holy Family began the week with a 3-0-shutout win at Goldey-Beacom College.  Richards capped the scoring with a goal in the 80^th minute. Richards highlighted the week scoring the game-winner on Saturday.  With the score tied 1-1 entering the first overtime period, Richards scored an unassisted goal after breaking away from the defense down the right side of the field.  She then chipped the ball over the Concordia goalkeeper into the back of net giving the Tigers the 2-1 victory :39 seconds into overtime.  The overtime score marked her fourth of the season as Richards currently has nine points (4G/1A) this year.  She was named the CACC Rookie of the Week for her performance.
