Holy Family University Athletics

Redshirt junior Reggie Charles was named the CACC Men's Basketball Co-Player of the Week for the week ending Dec. 14. Holy Family (7-2, 3-0 CACC) went 1-1 versus non-conference opponents this past week.  The Tigers opened the week with their first ever victory over Bowie State University with a 79-68 road win on Wednesday.  The team capped the week down in West Virginia to face nationally ranked No. 1 West Liberty University on Sunday.  The Hilltoppers bettered the Tigers by three points with an 89-86 victory.
 
Charles averaged a team-best 24.5 points per game as he shot an impressive 16-of-23 (.695) from the field. He also averaged 5.0 assists per game and converted 12-of-13 from the free throw line.  Charles highlighted the week with a season-high 26-point performance at West Liberty to go along with six assists.  Prior to that versus Bowie State, Charles scored 23 points on 9-of-11 shooting.
