Holy Family University Athletics

Holy Family University junior Isaiah Gans was named to the CACC Men's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending Dec. 7. Gans led the Tigers this pas week as he averaged 20.5 points per game to go along with 8.0 rebounds per games.  He also blocked four shots, including a season-high three shots versus Dominican College.  The Tigers finished another perfect week picking up a pair of conference victories.  The team opened the week with an impressive 73-51 victory versus cross-town rival Philadelphia University.  Holy Family followed that up with an 86-78 win versus Dominican on Saturday to close out the week.

Gans totaled 18 points versus Philadelphia with 16 of his points coming in the second half.  He shot 5-of-7 from the field, including 4-of-6 from three-point range in the half.  He also had seven rebounds and one block.  Against Dominican, Gans scored a career-high 23 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the field and 6-of-8 from the free throw line.  He came one rebound shy of a double-double grabbing nine boards to go along with three blocks on defense.
