Holy Family University Athletics

Junior Samantha Borrelli helped lead Holy Family to a 3-1 record this past week versus conference opponents.  The Tigers swept Chestnut Hill College on the road (7-1, 2-0) and split with Bloomfield College (L, 5-3 (8)/W, 3-2) at home.  Borrelli batted a team-high .533 after going 8-for-15 at the plate.  She recorded two doubles, two home runs, three RBI and scored five runs.  She also picked up her first win of the season in the pitching circle after going seven strong innings versus Bloomfield in game two of the doubleheader.  She allowed two runs off five hits and struck out three hitters.
