MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Holy Family University volleyball team won the third set, but Millersville took control late in the other three, as the Tigers opened their road schedule against the Marauders on Tuesday night. 
 
Individual Highlights

• Mia Wise (Genoa, Ill./Genoa-Kingston) led all players with 40 assists and three aces, while adding eight digs 
• Keira Rogan (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) posted a match-high 13 digs
• Kalia Espenlaub (New Market, Md./Saint John's Catholic Prep (Millersville)) and Shelby Kinzer (Sioux Falls, S.D./Washington) toped the Tigers with 11 kills apiece
• Abby Bachman (Westampton, N.J./Rancocas Valley) also had three aces, a new career-best

• Holy Family had double the amount of service aces as Millersville, 12-6, but the Marauders outhit the Tigers .366-.169 and had double the amount of blocks, 8-4

 
How it Happened

• First Set (20-25): HFU led by as many as five four times, and the Tigers were still ahead 17-15 after a Kinzer kill, but Millersville would score the next six points to take its first lead of the match
• Second Set (21-25): Tied at 17 following back-to-back kills by Kinzer and Logan, the Marauders took command with six of the next seven points
• Third Set (25-21): A Wise service ace capped six unanswered for a 14-10 advantage, and Holy Family would lead by three-plus the remainder of the set

• Fourth Set (19-25): The Tigers were up as late as 17-16 after a kill by Ava Kidd (Walton, Ky./Larry A. Ryle (Saint Anselm)), but this time it was five in a row that allowed Millersville to pull away
