Tigers Split Tri-Match at Nyack



Nyack, N.Y. - The Holy Family University women's volleyball team split its two matches during a tri-match at Nyack College on Saturday afternoon.  The Tigers dropped their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest to the Warriors by the score of 3-2, but rebounded and came away with a 3-0 victory versus Merrimack College in a non-conference match.

Holy Family and Nyack were meeting for the 18th time all-time dating back to the 2003 season.  The Tigers are now 11-7 versus the Warriors.  Holy Family and Merrimack faced one another for the second time this season and fourth all-time.  The Tigers are 2-0 versus the Warriors this season and evened the all-time series at 2-2.

Holy Family returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 27 as the Tigers host Chestnut Hill College in a CACC contest. Match time is set for 6 p.m. inside the Campus Center Gymnasium.
