Ferron took over as Holy Family’s first-ever Head of Strength & Conditioning in August 2022.
As Head of Strength & Conditioning, he is responsible for the Sports Performance needs of all Holy Family student-athletes. This includes resistance training, conditioning, speed work, and recovery methods. He is also responsible for overseeing operations within the Fitness Center and runs the strength and conditioning internship as the supervisor.
Ferron gained his first experience in strength and conditioning interning under the Sports Performance staff at The University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, PA). There he gained insight into training high level Division I Ivy League student-athletes.
He also spent nine years as a dual sport and strength coach at Downingtown West High School (Downingtown, PA) for the Football and Track & Field programs, developing multiple high level athletes that have gone on to compete at various levels of collegiate athletics, and has been a personal trainer for various populations for the last five years.
Ferron gained both his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Sciences and his master's in applied sports performance at West Chester University (West Chester, PA).
He received his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), of which he is a member.
