Wassel Earns CACC Weekly Honor Roll Recognition

New Haven, Conn. - Make it four straight weeks for Holy Family University sophomore Chase Wassel (North Wales, Pa./Lansdale Catholic) as she was once again listed on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending Sept. 25 as announced by the conference office on Monday.

Wassel helped lead the Tigers to a perfect 2-0 record last week as Holy Family picked up victories at Chestnut Hill College (W, 3-2) and versus Felician University (W, 3-0).

Last week Wassel averaged 6.3 kills and 3.5 digs per set while totaling six blocks and three service aces. She highlighted the week with a 30-kill performance in the win at Chestnut Hill to set a new single-match program record for most kills in a match. Wassel also came through with 22 digs against the Griffins.

Wassel capped the week with 21 kills and six digs in the team's shutout victory over Felician.

In 14 matches this season, Wassel leads the team with 4.74 kills, 5.52 points and 3.74 digs per set.

Holy Family (7-7, 4-1 CACC) returns to action tonight as the Tigers travel to Pace University to face the Setters in a non-conference contest. Match time is slated for 7 p.m.
