Wassel Highlights CACC Weekly Honor Roll Third Straight Week

New Haven, Conn. - Sophomore Chase Wassel (North Wales, Pa./Lansdale Catholic) has been a perfect three-for-three this season as she has been once again named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending Sept. 18 as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

In a 2-0 week, Wassel helped lead the Tigers to victories over Goldey-Beacom College (W, 3-0) on Friday and at Concordia College (W, 3-1) on Saturday. She averaged 4.71 kills and 3.41 digs per set while totaling six service aces in the two matches.

Against Goldey-Beacom, Wassel led the team with 16 kills while recording a .281 attack percentage. She also totaled nine digs to go along with three aces and two block assists. Wassel followed that up with a 17-kill performance at Concordia while adding 13 digs and three aces.

In 11 matches thus far this season, Wassel is averaging 4.49 kills and 3.89 digs per set while totaling 15 aces and 22 total blocks (5BS/17BA).

Holy Family (5-6, 2-0 CACC) returns to action tonight as the Tigers travel to face local rival Chestnut Hill College in a CACC contest. Match time is slated for 7 p.m.
