Augustin Selected to CACC Weekly Honor Roll

New Haven, Conn. - Holy Family University junior runner Taurai Augustin (Castries, Saint Lucia/St. Mary's College Secondary School (Union County College)) was among those listed on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Cross Country Weekly Honor Roll as announced by the conference office on Tuesday. It marks the second time this season that Augustin has been named to the conference's weekly honor roll.

Augustin was the Tigers' top finisher over the weekend at the annual Bill Fritz/Charlie Way Invitational hosted by Rowan University. He finished 57^th overall among the 174 competitors, completing the 8k-course in a time of 27:29.48. Augustin improved his time from last season's race by nearly two minutes after running the course in 29:13.8 a year ago.

As a team Holy Family finished ninth overall out of 17 teams that competed. The Tigers totaled 103 points.

Holy Family returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 24 as the Tigers take part in the Osprey Open hosted by Stockton University.
