Moyer Selected to CACC Weekly Honor Roll

New Haven, Conn. - Holy Family University freshman Meghan Moyer (Levittown, Pa./Neshaminy) was among those named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Tennis Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending Sunday Sept. 11 as announced by the conference office earlier this week.

Moyer helped the Tigers go 1-1 this past week in matches at Molloy College (W, 6-3) and versus the University of the Sciences (L, 7-2). She won both her singles matches against the Lions and Devils. At Molloy, Moyer defeated Emily Rosen at sixth singles after dropping the first set, 0-6. She bounced back with two straight wins in the next two sets to pick up the win by identical 6-4 scores.

Against the Devils, Moyer earned the win after a 6-4 victory in set one versus Jillyan Serrano before retiring. She is currently undefeated at sixth singles this season with a 3-0 record.

Holy Family is back in action today as the Tigers travel to face Chestnut Hill College in a CACC contest. Match time is slated for 4 p.m.
