Iannotti Named to CACC Weekly Honor Roll

New Haven, Conn. - Holy Family University senior Abigail Iannotti (North Bennington, Vt./Mt. Anthony Union) was among those listed on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending Dec. 19 as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon. This is the third time this season that Iannotti has been recognized.

Iannotti helped lead the Tigers to back-to-back wins this past week. Holy Family began the week with a convincing 71-53 victory over cross-town rival Philadelphia University on Thursday and went on to cap the week with a 69-60 win versus visiting West Chester University in a non-conference match up.

Iannotti averaged a double-double for the week with 19.5 points and 12.5 rebounds per contest while shooting 60.0-percent from the field (18-30). She poured in 20 points to go along with 10 rebounds in the win at Philadelphia. Iannotti also totaled two steals and one block versus the Rams. She highlighted the week with a season-high 21 points, 15 rebounds and five assists against the Golden Rams.

The back-to-back double-doubles marked her team leading fifth and sixth of the season. Through 11 games, Iannotti is averaging 12.6 points and 10.5 rebounds per game.

Holy Family (3-8, 2-3 CACC) will resume play on Saturday, Dec. 31 as the Tigers travel to face Merrimack College in a non-conference contest. Game time in North Andover, Mass. is slated for 2 p.m. The Tigers will then ring in the New Year with another non-conference match up at Bentley University on Jan. 1. Game time is set for 2 p.m. inside the Dana Center in Waltham, Mass.
